In 2003 when I found out I was pregnant, I was also made redundant from my job, so when my Son was born I wanted to look after him but also do something other than just be Mummy. I had been making jewellery on and off through out my life but had never tried silversmithing,  how hard can it be I thought, turns out to be reasonably easy.

My home studio is also the kitchen table!!! All jewellery is hand made entirely, i.e. no electrical tools involved!

I may invest in a polishing wheel sometime as hand polishing takes ages, but it is very relaxing.

So, I taught myself and am still learning and probably will still be learning new techniques in 20 years time!!

I started selling on Ebay  and wondered about getting a web site of my own, so being the sort who likes to do things myself I built my own site using FrontPage. The site has been running now for just over a year.

I love gems and crystals, the look of them, the feel of them. Their energies are amazing and what better way to display them is in jewellery. I also love jewellery and love making it. I am getting addicted to buying beads and always looking out for the unusual.

I live in Scotland with my partner Mike and our son Connor, and our tom cats, Pink and Bosch who are the grand old age of 15.

The name The Jewellery Witch came from my making jewellery and also being a Witch, following the path of Wicca.

Pink and Bosch Passed away early 2007, January and February, respectively.

We now have 4 fish tanks!!! one housing this cute little fella, that's Pedro, a Mexican salamander, and of course the cats Finn and Obi.
